FAQ
Common questions about choosing and buying rebar processing machines.
Choosing a machineHow do I choose between a rebar bending machine and a stirrup bending machine?
A rebar bending machine bends straight bars into angles (90°/135° etc.). A stirrup bending machine (single-head or five-head CNC) forms closed stirrups/ties from coiled or straight bar. If your work is stirrups and ties, choose a stirrup machine; if you bend straight bars for beams and columns, a CNC bending machine.
CapacityWhat is the capacity of a CNC five-head stirrup machine?
A five-head machine forms multiple stirrups in one cycle - e.g. ZD-6M-25 processes Ø8x10 bars, Ø10x7, Ø12x5 per stroke at 5-8 seconds per cycle, with ±2 mm length accuracy and ±1° angle accuracy.
CapacityCan you cut and straighten rebar in one machine?
Yes. Our VFD straightening & cutting machines (e.g. YGT4-15A(BP)) straighten Ø4-15 mm round and ribbed bars and cut them to 500-8000 mm with ±5 mm accuracy. For a full line, combine it with a five-head stirrup machine into a straightening-cutting-stirrup production line.
Ordering & paymentWhat is your MOQ?
MOQ is 1 machine. For production lines, we quote the complete set. Volume buyers get better pricing.
DeliveryHow do you ship and how long does delivery take?
Machines are crated, loaded by container or flat rack, and shipped FOB or CIF to your port. Lead time is typically 15-30 days depending on machine and season. Contact us with your port for an exact quote.
Ordering & paymentDo you support payment by T/T?
Yes, T/T is the standard payment method. Details are provided with the PI (proforma invoice).
Customization & supportCan I get the machines customized?
Yes - voltage, frequency, PLC programs and accessories (coil pay-off, automatic stacking racks) can be adapted to your site. Tell us your requirement when you request a quote.
Customization & supportDo you provide after-sales support?
Yes. We provide documentation, remote guidance via video/WhatsApp, and spare parts supply for ongoing maintenance.
Choosing a machineHow do I choose the right rebar cutting machine?
Match the machine to your bar diameter first: GQ50A handles round bar up to 50 mm, GQ70A up to 70 mm, while the hydraulic shearing line GDQX-500 is built for high-volume, cut-to-length production. If you also need straightening, the YGT4-15A(BP) VFD machine cuts and straightens 4–15 mm wire in one pass. Tell us your bar size and daily output and we will confirm the right model.
Choosing a machineHydraulic or mechanical rebar shear — which is better?
Hydraulic shears apply steady force across the full stroke, cut larger diameters cleanly, and run quieter with less shock load, which suits high-volume shearing lines. Mechanical shears are simpler, cheaper to maintain, and fine for smaller diameters. We can recommend based on your maximum bar size and daily volume.
Choosing a machineHow does a rebar thread rolling machine work?
The HGS-40 cold-rolls threads onto the bar ends with rolling dies under pressure, producing a stronger, more accurate thread than cutting for mechanical coupler joints. It works on 14–40 mm rebar and needs no cutting fluid. Rolling is faster and preserves the bar's yield strength, which is why it is preferred for column joints and high-strength connections.
CapacityWhat size rebar bending machine do I need?
Size by the largest bar you bend every day. CNC models GJZD6-50CZ and GJZD6-65CZ cover 50 mm and 65 mm respectively; for stirrup work, the five-head ZD-6M-25 and ZD-6M-20 handle most job-site stirrup diameters at high output. Send your maximum diameter and bend shapes and we will match a model with spare headroom.
CapacityHow much power do rebar machines consume?
Power depends on the model — from about 4 kW on a small spring machine up to roughly 22 kW on the plane bending center. Most machines run on three-phase 380 V / 50 Hz. Check each product page's spec sheet for the exact main-motor power, then plan your workshop power supply and generator capacity accordingly.
CapacityHow do I estimate stirrup output per day?
Multiply cycles per minute by working minutes per shift, then deduct setup and handling time. A five-head machine forms several stirrups in one cycle, so per-hour output is far higher than a single-head machine. Use the spec-sheet cycle speed as the theoretical figure and apply your own efficiency factor — send us your target daily quantity and we will size the machine.
DeliveryHow long does delivery take and what does shipping cost?
Delivery time and freight depend on the model, quantity and destination port. Standard machines are crated and containerized, with the lead time confirmed in the proforma invoice. Send your port and quantity on WhatsApp and we will quote shipping within one business day.
Customization & supportCan I order spare parts after purchase?
Yes. We keep spare parts for the machines we export and ship them on request with your order details. Blades, rolls and control parts are the most commonly ordered items. Include your model number and we will confirm availability and price.
Customization & supportDo you provide operator training?
Every machine ships with a manual and a test-run video. For CNC models we provide wiring and parameter guides so your electrician can commission it on site, and our engineers answer setup questions on WhatsApp. On-site training can be arranged for larger orders.
Customization & supportWhat maintenance does a rebar bending machine need?
Daily: clean the table and check the oil level. Weekly: grease moving parts and check blade or die gaps. Monthly: inspect electrical connections and VFD settings. Following this checklist keeps the machine accurate and avoids downtime, and our after-sales team can walk you through any item.
